Lockdown made me try many things and Chess is one which I tried my hands on after a long pause since childhood. Though I am not good at it, I do win occasionally against kids.

Interestingly, this game has a lot to relate to our lives. Like how patience and strategy are the most important aspects to win the game, we need these tools to win the game of life too.
Patience to handle things which are not working in our favor and strategy to plan the next steps in achieving our goals. If you are worried about not having any goal in specific, there is nothing to worry about as everyone will land up with one eventually.
Chess is a game where we sacrifice some pieces intentionally to protect others with a higher power. Similarly, we might have to sacrifice some relationships and interests to pursue something much better and we must realize it to be a part of life.
Every piece on the board has a specific role to play with certain limitations as to how our family, friends, well-wishers and enemies have their own role in what we are today or where we are headed towards.
In this game, we do have to think a few steps ahead of the opponent to have a better hand and this can miserably fail sometimes. This is how we as humans take risks with a certain level of uncertainty to grow and innovate. Some fail in the process and some succeed but one must understand that the process is more important than the end outcome. The experience itself helps us take better decisions and analyze risks better when trying something new again.

As one cannot win every game unless they play against themselves, let's not sit back after losing one game or having failed (so-called) with one idea.
Who wouldn't agree with me if I say that we care about the queen and the king the most in chess?. So, girls, realize that your guy cares and values you the most over others in his life and guys, we too must realize that these are the ones who have the ultimate power to protect us and help us in all the ways to make us win the game of life. If there can be a perfect ending to this game, I would ask for a situation where both the players are left with king and queen to which both can be declared as winners.
There is a lot more to relate with every piece on the board but I guess you must have realized it by now the main motto of this writing. So I don't have to brag it anymore.
What surprised me was this one situation in the end game where both of us lost all the powerful pieces leaving us with the pawns and the king. Pawns which we generally try sacrificing to protect the pieces with higher power were the most important at this point in the game. This is when I realized all that matters towards the end of life are those little memories we make with our friends and family. I do remember reading an article that says everyone is flashed with their most favorite memories just a few minutes before their end.
Everyone has their own take on life, I here tried my best to relate it to the game of chess and I wish everyone wins their own game.
